The Impact of Drought on the Environment
Water is rapidly becoming the new goal. Trillions of liters are lost when we store that in large open dams. There's also a large carbon footprint when we move water from the farm. We've got to use more mulch and cover crops, but they actually become essentials as we struggle to minimise the impact of drought. Number four relates to a loss of biodiversity. The central operational principle in nature is biodiversity. Herein lies a fatal flaw. If we're going to work with a natural system rather than against that, then we must look at what are the central driving principles and nature.
