Before you ever were writing on Squadoo and building niche websites, what were you doing as far as professionally? Finally, for the most part, I was a dentist actually for 12 years. And I managed to kind of stretch out another seven years to pay the student loans off by doing local dentistry. So that's just going, filling in at different offices when the dentist is on vacation so then the office can stay open. "I don't find a lot of dentists quitting their practice and doing things online," he says.
