Black Anti-Discrimination Struggles at the Airport
The book looks at black anti discrimination struggles at the airport from the 1950s, late 1950s into the 1980s. Most people who most black workers who were hired were doing basically service work. The outcome is that there were some successes but there were also pretty significant limits and the black workers were able to make significant gains in certain occupationsbut not so much in the professional ranks.
