Back to school season was weird and wonderful in a number of ways for me, mostly because it was my last back to school season. The first time that happened was when my oldest kid, his son, went off to his first day of pre kindergarten on september first,. Exactly 20 years ago, ten days before nine 11, when our lives changed forever. That's kind of weird, you know, symmetry, i think am so like many parents, just the fact that my kid is go in physically to school was a cause for celebration.
