The Waddosh passport scheme was used to smuggle Jews out of Poland during the Second World War. The story behind these passports didn't feed into the Holocaust narrative on an official level, from the level of personal reminiscence. It took until a recent Polish ambassador to Bairn in Switzerland called Jakob Kumorch and his staff to piece this together. You discussed the importance of this scheme due to the general failure of the international community to assist Jews during the Holocaust. What do you think were the reasons for this?
