The Importance of Reparations in the Global North
You make the case for reparations m and you do argue for the importance of this. Can you talk to us a little bit about how important it is for reparations? Look, it's absolutely critical. We all know that to solve this climate crisis, you need to solve the crisis inequality and poverty alongside it. The ucas fair share of one point five in minus 200 % by 20 30. That's how much we are responsible for the carbon that's in the atmosphere. And so that is what reparation is. A recognition both not only the need for th transition, but recognizing the harm that the global north has done on the global south.
