The Art of the Data Science Value Chain
i think about literally every single data science project, every single analytic inquiry, as having five elements. First you have to understand the problem. You really need to get deep into the underpennings of the actual problem you're solving. Fourth step is interpret. Tell me, what did you find? What did you learn? What's new? And then the last stage is output. This could be a piece of code. It could be a data visualization from a be tool. There's all sorts of different forms. But youreally need to get that whole totality of the value chain in order to create value out of data. Nanalytics. That's my belief. Got it?
