How Did You Discover the World of Lice and Bed Bugs?

In the later middle ages, they had trials for rats. I don't think that worked, but i thought that was pretty funny. There's a new yorker cartoon where two people pictured in seventeenth century costume say this would be a golden age except for the lice. Words are not neutral, and these words, reminous words, certainly are not neutral. But i've yet to see theronoviris called vermin, but it may come.
