Corporate finance is probably the most popular area that many students want to work in. The majority don't get in through normal applications, so what are a couple of ways to think about different tactics? We spend a lot of time thinking about this with our summer analysts and trying to work through different backgrounds and things like that. And there's always the classic advice that if you can find a slot where you're actually doing something that you enjoy and that aligns with at least a portion of your skill set, no money will come.
