The Disingenuousness of Trend Following
The premise of this article is disingenuous at worst and just flat out dishonest. Trend following doesn't require you to be worried about whether or not Jim Stewart had an agenda when he wrote this piece in the New York Times. I bring it up to sharpen the divide between these different ways at looking at the world. On one side, you have all of the university shenanigans, the efficient market nonsense. You also have Wall Street giving you a buy, sell and hold recommendation that's never going to stop.
