Can we expect to see a similar phenomenon in Europe and the UK? Not really as money market fund and not so well known over here. Bank depositors are still switching increasingly out of instant access deposit accounts which yield very little. As long as central bank interest rates stay as high as they are today our forecast is that the US Federal Reserve will cut rates next year.
