The health care system seems to be part of the trans humanist paradise, which kind of says, whatever we come from is base and benal. We need to progress toward something beyond human. Hence the idea of transhuman you know, merge with technology, merge with machines, become gods. Medicine doesn't really like looking at like the ancestral stuff. So i think it's been confusing to a lot of us over the last couple decades as these ideas have filtered to the common person who's trying to take care of their health.
