The History of Bitcoin
Every four years, the number of new Bitcoins that are released every 10 minutes is cut in half. This process repeats all the way until the very last Bitcoin is released in the year 2140. Historically, indeed, every time there's been a halving, the price of Bitcoin hit a high about one and a half years later. We're already experiencing that with Bitcoin up nearly 30% this year.
