The Importance of Anger in Poetry
I saw you fairly early on. The mop of black hair, the glasses, you looked like no other poet on earth that I'd ever heard of. You didn't appear to be driven by a massive amount of anger. Your poems at that time and ever since really have had far too much sort of human warmth to them to be seen as punk and destructive.
