Gina had a reduction surgery up top -- she's sick of being top heavy. This wasn't just cosmetic, though. It's for her health and her bones and such. For Vinnie, he had Guam removed -- a growth down below. Both are recovering now. THE HARMS OF BULLYING Vinnie was bullied as a child. His mom held him back because she thought he needed it. It made things worse. The other children, AND the nuns, bullied Vinnie. They called him "Vinna" because his deafness and speech impediment prevented him from saying his name correctly. They'd make fun of him in other ways too. This is why Vinnie does not like nuns -- they were supposed to protect him, and they hurt him. Then, the other kids thought they could do it too. This bullying left a mark on Vinnie. He can't imagine how much worse it is now with the internet. He understands why kids self-harm, especially when they don't have the support at home. Be kind to people, whether in person or behind a keyboard. Good teachers can counteract this. Some teachers ask for 'citizens of the week,' or asks students who they'd like to sit to.
