Getting a year to do this and just being in my little room, in my hole, by myself, tweaking sentences for hours is sort of my ideal or that i discovered last year. And so just being able to not have that distance between my thoughts and the words was pretty nice. You know, i say in that essay that the good days never outweigh the bad.
