The Importance of Reconstruction
The sheep of the 16th century simply don't exist today. The intensive animal husbandry of the intervening centuries have made those sheep non-existent. So I think the biggest lesson in reconstruction is to accept that we have to be very humble about what is possible and acknowledge that there are many things that are just impossible with the resources we have today.
