Study of Religions - I'm Seeing the Flit Class of Undergraduates
i still think the best teaching is that one to one model. When you move towards those independent studies, where a student is engaging in their own research and bouncing it off someone who can help direct them. One of my colleagues at oxford brooks is doing a project called every student published. Er, of couse, it's much easier because we can publish our lines as many more electronic things. But i think in the study of religions, because we have had this high level of self reflection about our methodology and our discipline. We actually provide a variety of different research discipline ik,. i don't know any curriculum that doesn't have research method schools.

As we career forward into the twenty-first century, in a context where more and more students have access to higher education, where technology advances at an exponential rate, and where the logics of neoliberalism and management seemingly creep further into every aspect of everyday life, critical reflection about the role of academics in teaching has never been more necessary. In this our first podcast of 2016, Chris was joined by Dr Dominic Corrywright of Oxford Brookes University in the UK, to discuss current developments in higher education pedagogy, the challenges and opportunities that these present for Religious Studies, and some practical examples from Dominic’s own experience.
