The Alhambra: A Symbol of Islam

The Alhambra does actually represent, I think, the peak achievement of Islamic architecture. It doesn't represent any one particular nation, but surely that's a good thing. What it does represent is it's become a symbol for Arabs and for Islam at large. One of the people who made the Alhambra famous among Muslims was actually the Indian Muslim poet Iqbal.
