The Kingdom of God and the Church

Paul compares a bunch of different kinds of widows in these verses. The real widow left alone, has set her hope on God and continues in requests day and night. She is the one who Paul instructs Timothy for the church to rally around. In some ways this widow that Paul is talking about is like a staff member of the church.
