Using a Diversion System in a Fusion Reactor
The demands on a fusion reactor are far and away beyond what the materials we have to day are capable of delivering. So it's gong to be a material science problem, isn't it? We're going to develop a scheme so that we do not depend on wonder materials. And if we use the standard divert for instance, etuses, then, of course, it will be far too inadequate in being able to handle the enormous heat and partical tractos which a high power, density, compact machine will produce.
