Is the ECB Moving to Increase Rates?
You can get a fixed rate in the market depending on how much you're borrowing and over the period. A bit more now from the non-bank lenders because they've moved to increase their rates. We have tracker rates now, typical tracker rate probably 2.5%. If you go back to July and compare where a tracker borrower might be early next year compared to where they were before rates started to increase at all, you could be talking about 250 euro a month. When you add that to the energy crisis, you're into pretty chunky numbers.
