Even working on your stress response before eating, like you said, saying a prayer or breathing, whatever it is that resonates with you to help get into a rest and digest state helps not only for that piece, but also for the stress response. So we want to reduce stress response whenever we can to help the digestive process. And same thing with meal hygiene. It's a lifelong process.
