The Importance of Hearing

The gift of hearing is something that we just kind of don't pay attention to a lot of times because we've been trained to read with our eyes. So it's also a good thing that phase comes through hearing and not literacy. God talks about his ears being there and his heart being there so that when the people of Israel prayed toward the temple, God heard and God answered. All these tabernacle passages like this where God speaks from a certain location are foreshadowing of when God will actually speak in a specific person and his own incarnate son.
