Private lending is one of the few ways that i've ever found where someone else pays for my protection of my capital. You're going to find that the borrower pays for a lender's title policy. The borrowers paying for flood insurance, if required. Blake: It just really boggles my mind whenever new lenders come to it, they're like, why can't i just use a tem plate on law to get it free, get it done?

For average investors, private money lending has been mentally squared away as “something mega-wealthy people do.” Most investors will write off lending money because they think they lack the experience or funds to do a successful deal.
