Are You an Expert in Opiate Addiction?
"I'm going to call you as an expert. I'm going to say, Drew, you've got you," the prosecutor said. "How many years did you actively engage in the practice of addiction? 30 years." He then asked if he could draw any conclusions from his research about Murdoch's behavior after being addicted for more than 20 years. The defense attorney replied that it would be almost impossible because addicts are interested in one thing and one thing only: doing opiates.
