Do you have an item or a set of items in your own head that you think this is such a key item that doesn't get talked about enough? I'm always struck by the carved, and these are more famous, like the carved alabaster vases that held perfume. Those are really striking, but not just for the workmanship of the stone, but when you realize how they're inlaid with colorful mineral pigments.
