How the Agency Will Handle the Next 20 Substance Risk Evaluations

The agency has a statutory deadline to complete the next 20 substance risk evaluations by June. We don't really know when draft evaluations will start trickling out, but EPA has given us some hints about which will be among the substances on this next tranche of 23 that it's looking at first. The flame retardant TCEP and three solvents trans were prioritized for evaluation back in December 2019; those reviews were supposed to have been completed in three and a half years.
