Is Scientism a Real Thing?
Scientism is a real thing. It is possible to engage in scientism when you are unthinkingly copying things that seem scientific without really thinking about the underlying reason why you are doing it. Sometimesa this happens with people trying to quantify things that, you know cannot be qualified. If it's an empirical question, i don't think any better method than the science for for investigation. And where there's no evidence, i'm not really sure how science can help us.
