The Impact of Rodeos on Local Economy
These large scale rodeos across the country have long-kick local economies into high gear. For instance, the Calgary Stampede is in Canada and brings $540 million into Alberta. The Wall Street Journal reported last year, they're making around $75,000 on average with dozens roping in more than $100,000. That riders could actually double their pay if they join a professional bull rider's PBR team.
