Looking Out of the Window
I think perhaps not just to think about the window as a frame for looking out of, but the window in itself. It has performed so many different functions, symbolically and practically, throughout history. You know something to shoot arrows out of and kill people, something to chuck people out of, some something to smash,. Not just violent things like that. And it represents something about society, not just about what individuals want to say about themselves to the outside world or to visitors - but also about status more generally.
