Is Mary a Scottish Queen?
I feel that she is a Scottish queen, and that all stories about her and histories of her look at the whole picture. I think even an incredibly astute, wise, and well-advised monarch would have had trouble being a Catholic in a newly reformed country. She just was not sufficiently equipped mentally or intellectually for the problems that she faced. If you could walk around one of the locations in your book with Mary, what would you want to ask her?
