The Unbuttoning of My Barracks Room
My friend Bryce would often come into my barracks room unannounced to play pranks on me. One time, he woke me up while I was sleeping with a maniacal laugh coming from behind him. This has never happened before in 16 years of coping with sleep paralysis. The laughter sounded as if it was an old record that began to slow down getting deeper and deeper. It felt more like it was coming from inside of me somehow. At this point, whoever was behind me started freaking out and hyperventilating. With that, its laugh warped as well into something much larger than myself.
