The View of What Is Impossible Is Different on the Inside Than the Outside

The difference between impossible and improbable often has to do with the delta between A and B, right? I mean, you know, if you look at the four minute mile for someone 200 years ago, when the fastest mile that had been run with seven minutes, that's a three minute delta. Whereas Roger Bannister, I don't know what the fastest time he beat was, but that delta wasn't as big. And so these incremental changes we make as humans, maybe humans will be running a one minute mile because maybe the delta will have decreased. It gets to be improbable when the delta becomes smaller. So it's all in increments.
