What Are the Different Types of Sub-Tailors?
A medial dislocation is the most common, making up 65 to 80 % of sub tailor dislocations. A lateral dislocation is more likely to be open and results from eversion force on a plantar flexd foot. Anterior dislocations and posterior dislocations are rare. And in the setting of a total dislocation, the talus is completely dislocated from the ankle as well as the sub tailor and tailor navicular joints.
