When customers called Tesla to report the range problems, Reuters says a special team based in Las Vegas diverted their requests instead. The team would tell customers, there's no problem with your car. It's fine. Unlike most US-based auto manufacturers, they don't have a separate independent dealer network that services their vehicles. They do it all in house.
