The Europeans Off Defence Free Riders
If Europe can take care of its defence objective that will make it easier for the US to continue and it will make available more resources for its practice in the Pacific. Even if you were to have European strategic autonomy which seems even further out of sight now I don't think we should be under any illusions rather about what the foreign activities of the sources would be.
