The Consequences of Rebellion

The people were afraid for for their children, at least that's what they said if they were afraid for themselves as well. So God is going to turn this around and say, well, the children that you thought were become a prey. Well, I'm actually going to give to them. The very opposite of what you thought would happen to them. You're going to be devoured by the wilderness instead of instead of your children. But there's also consequences for even the children because it says verse 33, your sons shall be shepherds for 40 years in the wilderness,. And they shall suffer for your unfaithfulness until your corpses lie in the wilderness.
