The Challenge of Scaling Up AI

The promise of AI is huge, but we need everyone to be an active participant. We don't want a situation where few so-called AI gurus who are in response in a few places decaying to everyone else. A level of infrastructure should be within everyone to reach and cloud computing can certainly provide that aspect of it. Data literacy including the ability to distinguish between good and bad data and good and bad analysis should be essential for every citizen. And I'm working with another group to rejuvenate the data science modules in the current AP computer science curriculum for high school kids. The second FADSTAR conference will be held at the end of this month, January 21st in Atlanta, Georgia.
