You learn a lot about what's happening right now in our culture and how we think of it. It's the humor and that unscripted aspect that makes it really hard. Trying to translate humor between cultures is hard. But if you want to actively throw yourself into this English world, humor is essential. We communicate via humor constantly. I'm making jokes all the time. My son gets tired of me making jokes, to be honest.
