The Proud Boys were involved in skirmishes with, well, Antifa or people dressed in black. The jury isn't being told is it's a Black Lives Matter banner and it's being torn down from the asbury United Methodist Church. This is important allegedly in explaining why Tario wasn't present at January 6th, why he was arrested on January 4th. And it's also allegedly relevant to show why the Proud Boys, who used to be a pro-police organization, become so anti-DC police as of January 5th and 6th.
