Kissing the Bitterness, Kissing Orpa Away
Life was good until Naomi's husband unexpectedly died. Ten years later, both of her grown sons passed away. She decided to move back home to Bethlehem and told her two daughters-in-law that they should move back as well. Ruth said, no, Naomi, I'm staying with you. Go into Bethlehem to help take care of you. Orpa took her advice and said she was going to leave and moved back home. Instead, the scripture says, Naomi kissed Orpa goodbye.
