What We Don't Have Are Mass Graves of Horses
There aren't any mass graves of horses that have been found. It's not at all common to get full bodies. Often animals do get cut up for all sorts of different uses. And i think maybe the same thing happens to a lot of the horses that die on the battlefield,. That they will be taken away and processed and get mixed in with the rest of the horses.
