Nina anisimova was a premier dancer with the kirov ballet, and by the 19 thirties, one of the most famous ballarinas in the soviet union. In 19 38, at the height of the great terror, starlin brutally purged dissenting members of the communist party. Nina was accused of counter revolutionary crimes and transported to a forced labor camp in what is now casak stan.
