The Triumph of the Two-Party System in the United States
The creation of a two-party system legitimizes this net. It makes it possible for two sides to argue out a controversial issue, and the loser is not sent to the guillotine with a firing squad wall. The Bill of Rights establishes in the Bill of Rights that the federal level doesn't work at the state. There's still state-supported religion in several states up until 1820. But you cannot have that religion and politics are separate.
