The Redeeming Power of Christ

Christ goes into the wilderness to be tempted for 40 days and yet unlike the first Adam he does not disobey the commands of his father. He is repeating and he is redeeming in his life as the second Adam. And he's doing it in order that he might give us even more than we lost in the first Adam. In Christ we not only regain innocence of righteousness we now have a God who is actually flesh and blood with us.
