Systems Thinking and Judaism

Systems thinking is a way of looking at things in terms of systems and relationships, not just individual parts. The three hebrew words which start with the letter mem are minan, aminan and corps. Minan corresponds to emergence - when you have ten adult jews together there is something that is greater than the sum of the parts. Communities can really be healthy because it doesn't nullify the individual or say we don't value community.
