In tibet, some buddhists leave their dead outside for birds or other animals to devour. A tradition in some parts of india involves parading the dead around the streets,. And in some nordic countries, water is a preferred grave. Some bodies are set adrift in death ships, either along a river or sent out into the ocean, giving the bodies backto gods.
