When i was researching the book, i looked for industries that were heavily affected by automation. What what have the people who are still working as travel agents to day doing differently that has allowed them to persist in that field? I think there's a lesson in there for all of us, which is that even in parts of our jobs that are prone to being automated, what we can do as a kind of bulwark against that is to radically up the amount of humanity we are bringing to te job.
