Introduction

Bill 96 is largest expansion of the province's language laws in more than four decades. Among other things, it increases french language requirements in the education business sectors and limits the use of languages other than french in public services. Premier francois lego's government says that bill 96 is a moderate law that protects french while also maintaining access to english services. You will continue to have english speaking hospitals, cools sea jeps and universities.
